Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. As a Full Stack Engineer at Vayu, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining both the front-end and back-end components of our applications. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to a system that scales to handle large datasets and complex business logic. Some of the challenges you will face include solving data challenges related to scale and complexity.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and performant applications using Node.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while adhering to best practices.
• Build and consume APIs to integrate with third-party services and internal systems.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Address data challenges related to scale and complexity, ensuring efficient processing and storage.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer.
• Proficient in Node.js and back-end development, with a solid understanding of RESTful API design.
• Strong front-end development skills using React and TypeScript.
• Experience with relational or non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in an agile development environment.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
